Mrs Morphet graduated with a degree in Pure Mathematics and Statistics, having become a member of the Golden Key National Honour Society for outstanding academic achievement. A Masters’ Degree in Biostatistics was gained at QUT, a paper from her thesis being presented at the International AIDS Conference in Barcelona in 2002. Work experience included the Department of Primary Industry. A lifelong interest in Golden Retrievers led to the publication of a book on the breed which is globally recognised.
